Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring a Pro Services Sales Representative to connect builders, architects and businesses with our products and solutions through expert guidance and service.

In this role you will manage leads, travel across your territory, build relationships with purchasing contacts, and participate in builder meetings to help customers create the lifestyle they love.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3 years outside sales experience
• Ability to read blueprints and specification books within 3-6 months on the job
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, motor vehicle and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Manage prospects and new sales leads through various channels such as internet sites, business directories, social media and trade shows
• Plan travels throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers (homebuilders, remodelers, architects, property managers)
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
• Attend home builder meetings and actively participate as needed
