Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. seeks an NFM Pro Services Sales Representative in Omaha to connect builders, architects, and businesses with the right products and solutions through expert guidance and exceptional service.

You will manage prospects and new sales leads across channels, plan travel in your territory to solicit orders from homebuilders and architects, and develop lasting relationships with purchasing contacts to drive growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years outside sales experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specification books within 3-6 months on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, motor vehicle and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage prospects' new sales leads through various channels including internet, business directories, social media and trade shows.
• Plan travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers: homebuilders, multi-family builders, apartment owners or managers, remodelers and architects.
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Collaborate, attends and actively participates in home builder meetings.
