Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking a Sales Assistant to be the go-to partner for both internal and external customers, delivering exceptional service on the sales floor. As a central contact for NFM's sales teams, you will streamline communication, help close sales, and enter bids and orders with accuracy.

You may support the install and outside sales teams to ensure smooth job progression. Your role helps customers create a lifestyle they love, while growing with a trusted home furnishing

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales or customer service in a retail or contractor environment.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product information and provide necessary details to customers.
• Provide accurate point-of-sale information and close sales.
• Enter bids/orders and support pre-install measures; assist outside sales teams.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and answer phones promptly.
• Collaborate with install team for order maintenance and follow-up calls.
