Job summary

Floor & Decor seeks a Pro Sales Leader to drive growth and profitability within a designated sales territory, building strong relationships with professional customers and coordinating with executive leadership. You will monitor performance metrics, develop pricing and marketing campaigns, and collaborate to maximize sales opportunities across the region.

You will analyze local markets, plan prospect visits, and lead presentations to secure new business while traveling daily to call on customers

Qualifications

• Three years outside sales experience, retail preferred.
• Strong sales and business development skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and make recommendations.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
• Persuasive communication and executive-level presentations.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect continuously for new clients through various methods including telephone solicitation, in-store sales, and outside sales.
• Maintain current prospect list in electronic database as specified by company.
• Develop pricing and business development strategies with management guidance.
• Coordinate with sales, operations and marketing to focus on leads and campaigns.
• Participate in trade shows and promotional efforts; analyze local market opportunities.
• Follow up on referrals and leads; track status and produce reports as required.
• Plan prospect visits with Regional Pro Service Manager or Chief Executive Merchant.
• Make sales presentations to prospective customers and solicit orders.
• Meet new clients to assess satisfaction and gather strong referrals.
• Prepare proposals and responses to RFQs/RFPs with pricing approvals.
• Enhance and maintain business development skills through training programs.
