Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers in our Lakewood, NJ store.

You will also handle returns, stock, and assist with promotions and loyalty programs, helping customers find the right parts and services. Daily duties include collection of credit accounts, upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking, and building strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
