Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Peoria, IL is seeking a hard-working Delivery/Pro-Customer associate. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and assist in upselling while promoting loyalty programs.

The role requires safe driving, basic math, and excellent communication. You will work with MainStreet and National Pro accounts, support credit collection, and help keep the store clean and stocked. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide; handle daily transactions
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned during deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stock
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
