Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will collect credit accounts daily and support sales through upselling while maintaining a clean store environment.

The role requires strong communication, safe driving, and the ability to engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and offer appropriate parts or services. Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
