Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, drive daily routes, and promote loyalty programs while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience preferred
• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
