Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Driver to pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers and walk-in shoppers in Martinsville, VA. You will upsell, handle returns, manage credit accounts, and keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires high school completion, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Automotive parts experience is preferred and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to locate and stock parts and understand inventory.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.
• Operate back stock and cycle counts; maintain product knowledge.
• Engage with walk-in customers and recommend parts or services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
