Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Culpeper, VA is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also pick up returns, distribute sales flyers, and collect credit accounts while building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.

The role requires automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. This position offers a benefits package and opportunities for upselling during customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
