Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated delivery driver in Hopewell, VA to serve pro customers and walk-in shoppers. You will pick, stage and deliver parts, manage returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs to expand customer value.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, basic math skills, and experience in automotive parts or retail. You will also handle daily credit accounts, stock management, and ensure safety while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Deliver weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts and maintain driver logs.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; stock parts as needed.
• Engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services.
