Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a driver/parts specialist to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, and support sales programs while maintaining accurate inventory.

You will engage with customers, upsell, handle credit accounts, and keep the store clean. Must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; automotive parts experience is preferred. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
