Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a driver who will pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, promote sales and loyalty programs, and manage daily credit collections. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while assisting with upselling and inventory management.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and the ability to engage walk-in customers; automotive parts knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
