Advance Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers while promoting sales and loyalty programs. You will also handle returns, daily credit account collection, and build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers to provide insights learned on deliveries.

The role requires strong driving, customer service, and sales aptitude, plus ability to learn about new products and assist with stock, inventories, and promotions.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately in all units of measure; ability to work various shifts.

Aufgaben

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
