Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, manage weekly promotions, and participate in promoting loyalty programs while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires safe driving, basic math, and strong customer service skills. You will use a delivery board system, stock inventory, and upsell suitable products to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Perform basic math across units and decimals.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Confident in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Automotive parts knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
