Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and drop off weekly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will also collect credit accounts and build relationships with customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries. Engage with walk-in customers, upsell and cross-sell products to increase transaction value and maintain store cleanliness, stocking, and inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
