Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a reliable driver/parts specialist to serve pro customers and walk-in shoppers. You will safely deliver parts, manage credit accounts, and promote current sales while building strong relationships with key customers.

The role emphasizes upselling, cross-selling, and accurate back stock management. A valid license and good English communication are required; automotive parts knowledge is a plus. The position supports a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
