Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Dayton, OH is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to pick up returns and cores. The role includes distributing weekly flyers, promoting sales and loyalty programs, and collecting on credit accounts.

Successful candidates will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, keep the store clean, and maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to aid sales.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Automotive parts experience preferred.
Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
Daily collection of credit accounts.
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness and inventory knowledge.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts.
General stocking and cycle counts.
