Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in the United States seeks a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also pick up returns and cores, and hand out weekly/monthly flyers to promote sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock levels to support sales performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Safety knowledge and skills.
• Reading safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Basic math skills for handling parts and cash.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs.
