Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to serve pro customers and support store operations. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts, handle returns, and assist in upselling while promoting loyalty programs.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication skills. You will work with customers daily, navigate routes, and maintain stock and storefront cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.

• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately in all units of measure.
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
