Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Boone, NC is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to support store operations. You will also pick up returns, manage credit accounts, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires strong communication, a helpful sales approach, and the ability to learn about new products. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred, with a valid driver's license and physical stamina for lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP with delivery insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness, floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
