Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Cary, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while building relationships and promoting loyalty programs. You will also handle returns, upsell and assist with inventory and store upkeep.

Requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, high school diploma or equivalent, and automotive parts experience preferred. You must be able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
