Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Loader to support customer service, loading orders, and in-store operations. You will assist customers in locating and loading merchandise, prepare orders, and ensure safety standards are followed throughout the store.

Ideal candidates have some retail experience, basic computer and smartphone skills, and a willingness to obtain any required licensure. This is an on-site role with opportunities in Pro and Garden Center areas.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe’s policies and programs
• Assists customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently
• Uses power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise
• Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality
• Collects carts and helps maintain clean, safe work areas
• Identifies safety hazards and reports to management or Asset Protection
• Operates store equipment as needed for loading tasks
• Communicates stock, product features, and Lowe’s program information to customers
• Follows Lowe’s safety policies and procedures
• Completes required training for safe loading practices
• Loads customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size and weight
• Ensures orders are loaded accurately while maintaining quality and safety
• Assists in loading for Garden Center and Pro Desk as applicable
• Builds relationships with repeat customers and supports enrollment in Pro rewards and Pro Credit offerings
• Maintains Pro Standards in parking lot and under Pro canopy
