Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Loader role in the United States. The position focuses on providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with loading merchandise, supporting checkout and fulfillment, and ensuring accurate order preparation for both customers and contractors.

The Loader will operate various store technologies, maintain stock levels, and uphold Lowe’s safety policies. Opportunities exist to support Pro and Garden Center orders with dedicated responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: provides SMART customer service per Lowe's policies
• Assists customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately
• Uses power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise
• Maintains in-stock conditions by replenishing merchandise as needed
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Identifies and reports safety hazards to management/Asset Protection
• Operates store equipment as needed by role/department
• Communicates stock, product features, warranties, and Lowe's program information to customers
• Follows Lowe's safety policies
• Completes additional duties as assigned
• Loader-specific: support Pro customer relationships from arrival through order completion
• Loader-specific: assist with loading, staging, and order fulfillment for Pro customers
• Loader-specific: ensure safety and efficiency in loading in parking area and canopy
• Loader-specific: build relationships with repeat Pro customers and enroll in MeetPro Rewards
• Garden Center-specific: assist loading and order completion in Garden Center
• Garden Center-specific: ensure orders are staged for pickup
• Garden Center-specific: train for safe loading practices
