Job summary

Aspen Valley Health in the Surgery department is hiring a PRN Surgical Technologist. You will maintain sterile fields, prepare the OR, and support the perioperative team to provide high-quality intraoperative care.

Requirements include an unrestricted Surgical Technologist license (Colorado) or ability to obtain before start, and BLS. 2 years OR experience and CST/TS-C or NBSTSA credentials are preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures.
• Prepares the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner.
• Communicates with the perioperative team to deliver high standard intraoperative care.
• Stocks and orders supplies for the department.
• Provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.
