Job summary

Lincoln Surgery Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Certified Surgical Tech PRN to support operating room teams in Parker, Colorado. You will scrub and assist surgeons, maintain sterile technique, and help with room turnover, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires Colorado registration, a surgical technology program diploma, and BCLS; previous OR experience is preferred. PRN opportunities provide flexible scheduling within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Surgical Tech Certification
• State of Colorado Surgical Tech Registration required
• One year experience in an operating room
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate necessary practical, technical, or specialized skills required for the role of the surgical technician in accordance with the Association of Surgical Technologists
• Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments
• Ensure that surgical asepsis is maintained in the handling of instruments, sponges, sutures, drains, needles, and dressings
• Assist in the turnover of the operating room suites between cases, disposing of trash and linens, and cleaning of equipment and environmental surfaces
• Prepare procedure room for use the following day by bringing in equipment, setting up, pulling cases accurately, and reporting to supervisor items that are needed and not available
