Job summary

Aspen Valley Health in Aspen is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Surgery department. This full-time Days shift will maintain the sterile field, prepare the operating room, and support the perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted Colorado ST license or can obtain it before start, BLS, and preferably 2 years of OR experience plus CST/NCCT TS-C NBSTSA certification.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Colorado ST license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years OR experience preferred.
• Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile field and instrumentation for all procedures.
• Prepares the OR and supplies for each case in a neat, efficient manner.
• Communicates with the perioperative team to uphold high standards of care.
• Stocks and orders supplies for the department as needed.
• Provides additional supportive patient care as directed.
