Avalanche Valley Health is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist in the Surgery department. The role involves maintaining sterile fields, preparing ORs, and collaborating with the perioperative team to ensure high-quality intraoperative care.

Requirements include an unrestricted ST license or ability to obtain, BLS (may be obtained on hire), and preferred 2 years OR experience with optional CST/NCCT NBSTSA certification. Spanish bilingualism preferred.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner.
• Communicate with all other members of the Perioperative team to provide the highest standard of care.

We are currently hiring for a PRN Surgical Technologist within the Surgery department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Work Shift: Rotating - Other Compensation Range: $37.32 - $59.70 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years recent O.R. experience preferred.
• Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview

Maintains sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures. Prepares the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner. The Surgical Technologist (ST) will communicate with all other members of the Perioperative team to give the highest standard of care according to AORN standards for patients in the intraoperative period. The ST works collaboratively with co-workers, stocks and orders of supplies for department. The ST provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.
