Job summary

Clinica Family Health & Wellness is seeking a PRN Substance Use Specialist for Withdrawal Management in Louisville, CO. This on-site, part-time role involves direct services in a treatment milieu and collaboration with a dedicated team to support recovery.

You will screen clients, educate, monitor vitals, and document services in the EHR. Eligible candidates will have relevant education or experience, CPR/QMAP credentials, and vaccination compliance for annual flu shots.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related human service field preferred; alternative: 1 year or relevant behavioral health experience.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
QMAP certification required; if not already certified must become certified within 60 days of hire.
Must receive the flu shot annually.
Registration in Colorado DORA database as approved addictions counselor designations or mental health licensure required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Conduct client screening; including client histories, case notes and discharges.
Assist with client education.
Provide support in the management of the milieu environment.
Evaluate crisis situations and escalate behaviors with intervention support.
Connect with clients to promote health and recovery.
Collaborate with clients and staff to coordinate appropriate care for clients.
Monitor clients’ vital signs and coordinate sources of care as needed.
Maintain clinical records in the electronic health record system.
Complete documentation of services, per policies and procedures.
Meet defined individual and department goals and KPIs.
