Job summary

Clinica in Louisville, CO is seeking a PRN Substance Use Specialist (Withdrawal Management) to support clients in a treatment setting on an on-call basis. You will conduct client screening, provide education, and assist with milieu management while adhering to policies.

This role offers on-site shifts with swing/night/weekend differentials and requires CPR, QMAP certification, and annual influenza vaccination; prior behavioral health experience is preferred for non-related degrees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a related human service field or one year of relevant behavioral health experience.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR within 30 days of hire.
• QMAP certification required; if not certified must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Must receive the flu shot annually.
• Colorado DORA addiction counselor license or mental health licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client screening, including histories, case notes, and discharges.
• Assist with client education.
• Provide support in the management of the milieu environment.
• Evaluate crisis situations and provide intervention support.
• Coordinate care with clients and staff.
• Monitor vital signs and coordinate higher level care when needed.
• Maintain clinical records in the electronic health record system.
