Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a dedicated PRN Addiction Technician or Addiction Specialist to join our 24/7 Withdrawal Management team on-site in Colorado. You will provide direct clinical care, support the treatment milieu, and help ensure client safety during detox, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Shifts are 5 or 10 hours, at least two per month. Starting pay ranges from $22.48 to $37.09 per hour based on education; PRN adds a 10% differential.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Preferred: QMAP.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Preferred: Colorado Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients who are intoxicated or in withdrawal.
• Provide guidance, safety, stability, and direction.
• Identify emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Document admissions, discharges, inventories, and chart interactions.
• Monitor vital signs and document in EHR.
