Job summary

Encompass Health in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to join a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader. You will evaluate, plan, and administer individualized speech and language therapy, helping patients regain communication and swallowing skills in a supportive team environment.

Requirements include current state licensure or equivalent, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days), and a Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (Speech-Language Pathology) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
