Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop personalized plans, document progress, and adjust therapy based on patient response, while contributing to a compassionate, team-based inpatient rehabilitation environment.

The role requires state licensure and CCC, with CPR required or obtainable within 30 days of hire; a Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories throughout therapy.
