Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer personalized therapy plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in a hospital setting. This opportunities supports patients across a national inpatient rehabilitation network.

The role requires state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR or completion within 30 days of hire, with Master's preferred and a firm commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree with field experience
