Job summary

Unknown Facility is seeking a Speech Therapist (PRN) to evaluate residents and provide targeted speech therapy services within a healthcare setting. You will communicate with families and the care team, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliant documentation.

You will supervise CFY or students as applicable, participate in care conferences, and support staff training while maintaining high standards of infection control and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Masters/Doctorate preferred).
• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state; CPR certification may be required.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFYs or students as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
