Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join a collaborative rehab team. You will assess and treat patients' communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs, documenting progress and educating families.

Requirements include a Texas SLP license, Master's degree, MBSS experience, 1–2 years of rehab post CFY, and availability for at least two shifts per month, usually weekdays.

Qualifications

• MBSS experience required.
• Clinical documentation and discharge planning.
• Ability to work as part of a rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans.
• Documenting evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries.
• Educating patients and families on therapy goals and home strategies.
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing, and care managers.
