Job summary

Adoration Home Health seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to deliver patient-centered home health therapy in Centre, AL. The role focuses on evaluating speech/language needs, providing personalized 1:1 therapy, and guiding families and care teams to maintain progress in between visits.

You will work PRN with support from a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality care and continuity for patients in Centre and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current, unrestricted state license in Speech Language Pathology required.
• BLS or CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and communicate with patients to assess speech or language needs and determine therapy requirements.
• Teach patients to produce sounds and improve vocal quality.
• Instruct in alternative communication methods (e.g., sign language) when needed.
• Educate and guide healthcare team, patients, and caregivers on therapy exercises and progression.
• Document progress and complete visit notes per agency policy.
