Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health team in Hamilton, AL. This PRN position offers one-on-one patient care focused on improving communication and swallowing abilities in the home setting.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to provide evidence-based therapy, document progress, and ensure continuity of care across visits. A licensed SLP with CPR/BLS and a minimum of one year of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve voices.
• Teach alternate communication methods, such as sign language.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside sessions.
• Document progress and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.
