Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital seeks a compassionate RN to join the Coronary Care Unit. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• External candidates: two years of recent related nursing experience.
• Internal candidates with less than two years of experience, but post-orientation/90-day probationary period, may be considered with CNO level review and approval.
• Licensed military RN experience will be considered
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
