Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory care team. You will provide professional nursing care, assess health status, perform telephone triage, and develop care plans for adults 18+.

Travel within the region to support clinics and procedures is required. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of RN experience; LPN or MA substitutions are possible for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers transferring within ambulatory

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current state licensure as an RN.
BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
One year of recent RN experience.
Substitution option for LPN/MA if already in ambulatory Cleveland Clinic care.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
Administer medications and treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
Assist with diagnostic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
Develop and document health education for patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures.
