Job summary

The RN will implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, coordinate discharges, and educate patients and families while following nursing protocols and physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) is required.
• 1+ years of current acute care RN experience required; military RN experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
