Job summary

Crosswalk Health in Miami, FL is looking for Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry tests in primary care clinics.

The role offers flexible daytime hours, clinical autonomy, and the chance to build strong relationships with patients and clinic teams while traveling within a 45-minute radius.

You will contribute to high-quality respiratory care and participate in quality and safety protocols across sites.

Qualifications

• Must have bedside or complete PFT experience and understand albuterol side effects.
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling within a 45-minute radius.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is desirable but not required.
• Availability: two to five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device.
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy.
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols.
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site.
