Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
• NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred; AARC spirometry certificate accepted.
• Valid driver's license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry and comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs) per protocol.
• Administer albuterol for post-bronchodilator testing.
• Educate patients on testing procedures and equipment use.
• Monitor equipment and patient comfort throughout testing.
• Communicate findings with care team; maintain safety standards.
• Document results and maintain clean, safe testing areas.
