Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients under physician referral in a SNF setting. The role requires state licensure, NBCOT certification, and CPR certification, with preferred experience in post-acute care.

You will work in collaboration with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to promote functional progress and quality of life in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire; renewal optional.
• BSOT or MSOT from an accredited program.
• Current active state license in good standing.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs).
• Establish and adjust realistic goals for patient progress.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart accurately and timely.
• Use therapy software correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with patients.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
