Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state

• Wound care technique proficiency and infection control practices
• Knowledge of patient re-engagement techniques including de-escalation and motivational interviewing

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across medical settings
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
• Perform wound care management as ordered
• Implement infection prevention protocols
• Emergency response as needed
• Motivate and re-engage patients using de-escalation techniques
• Advocate for patients’ rights and collaborate with the care team
• Document information accurately and maintain medical records
