Job summary

Bradford at Warrior is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our care team in Warrior, AL. You will provide direct patient care across medical settings, educate patients and families, and support wound care management and infection prevention.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will advocate for patients, coordinate care, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding safety and quality standards. This role offers flexible PRN scheduling and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN).
• BLS certification.
• Experience in direct patient care within hospital or clinical settings.
• Proficiency in wound care techniques.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control protocols.
• Experience with patient re-engagement techniques including de-escalation and motivational interviewing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care
• Perform wound care management as ordered by the provider
• Implement infection prevention and control protocols
• Emergency response as needed
• Motivate and re-engage patients utilizing de-escalation and motivational interviewing techniques
• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, ensuring ethical and compassionate care delivery
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
• Document patient information accurately and maintain current medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Adapt nursing approaches to meet the needs of all patients as individuals
