Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in an assisted living setting. The role focuses on direct patient care, wound management, pain control, venipuncture, and patient education.

Collaboration with Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals is essential to coordinate care plans. The ideal candidate holds an Alabama LPN license, demonstrates strong English communication, and has experience with wound care, venipuncture, and EHR

Qualifications

Valid and current LPN license in Alabama.
Excellent reading/writing/speaking English for patient communication.
Experience in wound care and pain management.
Ability to perform venipuncture safely.
Experience in an assisted living facility or similar healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
Assist with activities of daily living for residents.
Perform wound care management and documentation.
Conduct venipuncture procedures for testing.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and care plans.
Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies.
Manage pain through assessment and intervention to improve comfort.
