Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the applicable state.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program ( ADN or BSN ).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in direct patient care in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Perform wound care management as ordered by the provider.
• Implement infection prevention and control protocols.
• Provide emergency response as needed.
• Motivate and re-engage patients using de-escalation and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs with compassionate care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records per regulations.
• Adapt nursing approaches to meet individual patient needs.
