Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to support nutritional services in long-term care facilities. The role may evolve into permanent part-time or full-time employment, offering varied coverage across multiple buildings as needed.

The position emphasizes critical clinical nutrition management, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to regulatory standards, with opportunities for professional development and supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Holds a state license in good standing to practice nutrition.
• RD-Eligible or provisional licensure accepted in certain locations.
• Knowledgeable about nutrition care regulations and CMS/state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents/patients' clinical nutrition needs and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, labs, weight trends, intake and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves health and well‑being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.
