Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. The position offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexibility and the opportunity to positively impact residents' lives.

You will assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, provide education to residents, families, and staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring CMS and state regulations are met. Travel to multiple buildings may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/License in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state/local customers.
• If multi-site RD, must have a valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the care plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, labs, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
